- How much does dumpster rental cost in Murfreesboro?We quote one flat price up front based on the container size and the material. It includes delivery, the rental period, pickup and a disposal weight allowance; the only possible extra is the per-ton overage rate we state on the same quote. - Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Murfreesboro?Not on your own driveway or private lot. On a City street or right-of-way, City Code § 28-11 requires a right-of-way permit before anything obstructs it, with warning devices day and night. The published fee is $50 per street (§ 28-103), doubled if work starts first, through the City Engineer’s office; the Right-of-Way Coordinator is on 615-893-6441 ext. 1626. - How fast can you deliver?Call before noon and we can usually deliver the same afternoon across Murfreesboro, Smyrna, La Vergne and the closest towns. Otherwise, next day. Our yard is at 831 Park Avenue.
- How long can I keep the dumpster?As long as your project needs. Most home rentals run three to seven days; contractors keep containers for weeks with swaps. Tell us the dates when you book and we extend if the job runs over.
- What can’t go in the dumpster?Tennessee keeps whole tires, lead-acid batteries and used oil out of landfills by law, wet paint cannot go to a landfill, lithium batteries must not go in the trash, fluorescent lamps are universal waste, refrigerant appliances need the gas recovered first, and friable asbestos is special waste. The county transfer station also refuses concrete slabs and, since August 2026, mattresses in mixed loads. Our guide lists where each item goes.
- Where does the waste go?To the Rutherford County Transfer Station at 6025 Landfill Road or to Middle Point Landfill on East Jefferson Pike, both permitted for household and construction debris. The county landfill has taken no construction debris since 2018 and the county convenience centers refuse it, so a roll-off is the practical route.
- Will the dumpster damage my driveway?We set the container down rather than dragging it and put boards under the rails on request. Tell us if the surface is new or decorative and we will plan the placement around it.
- Can I put a dumpster on the street in Smyrna, La Vergne or the other towns?None of them publishes a dumpster permit, but each has its own right-of-way rule and someone to call. Christiana, Rockvale and Lascassas are unincorporated and fall under Rutherford County. Each service-area page states what the town publishes and who to ring; where a place publishes nothing, we say so and keep the container on private property.
- Do you offer junk removal as well as dumpsters?Yes. Our junk removal crew loads, hauls and disposes of furniture, appliances and whole-house cleanouts, priced by the load with a firm quote on site.
- How much space does the truck need?About 60 feet of straight clearance to back in and roll the container off, and roughly 14 feet of overhead clearance, free of low wires and branches. Send a photo of the spot if you are unsure.
- Can I fill it above the top?No. The load must be level with the top rail so the truck can tarp it and travel legally. We will ask you to level an overfilled container before we haul it.
- What happens if I go over the weight allowance?You pay the per-ton overage rate we quoted when you booked, nothing more. Light loads rarely get near the allowance; heavy loads are why we size concrete, dirt and shingles into smaller containers.
